I want to see if I could handle a gay realationship, but have a well dodgy gaydar (so people get miighty offended when you mistake them for not straight!) so i don't know who else is gay/bi and I look too young to get into any clubs. So ladyfolk, I pose the question; what did you do about your feelings pre-18?
Kate Moss
Well, one thing to remember is that when in highschool(/middleschool?)a lot of people are still experimenting, thus, it's occasionally hard to find someone who is truly L/G/B. At the school I'm at, we have a GSA (Gay/straight alliance) and there's one really big social group (about half of the school) that openly admits their feelings towards different sexual orientations and have tried things with the same sex. Not to stereotype, but usually the sceneish/emoish people seem to have at least experimented and somehow know all the L/G/Bs.
In the end, It's hard to trust soley gaydar when younger; however, you could always try getting to know those who you think may be slightly(or more) curved to the point where they will tell you themselves, after all, who best to hear it from?
1i had the worst experience with trying to start a lesbian relationship in high school. i think we all know that some girls can be catty, and that's what happened to me. a girl pretended like she was interested and then made me into a joke throughout school. ever since then i've been wary. usually its the person that makes the least biggest deal about your sexuality that is a potential keeper.
